This year marked 51 years ofhosting this extravagant event. The QueenContest is one of the major activities to takeplace in the festival. Senior Tori Bowenproudly raised over $1,300. This moneygoes toward next years festival and events,making it bigger and better than the yearbefore. Bowen spent two weeks preparingfor her fundraising raid. With over 100people by her side to support her, sheaccomplished her goal.I will definitely do this again next year,Bowen said.Seniors Brenna McEvilly, Reilly Donovan,and Kendra Terrell also participated in theEllettsville Queen Contest.1. Located on Old StateRoad 37, the haunted houseonly opened for the month ofOctober and the first two dayof November. With ghosts,clowns and disturbed scientistsit was definitely a place tocheck out.9Hanna Haunted Acres,also located inIndianapolis, had studenlraving about the HauntedHayride, six differentattractions in the propertyand scenes from the movieSAW. Students said theywill definitely be returningnext Halloween.ii
