Description: WINTER70STATES0pII0M0REThis season, sophomore ColtonMossbrucker placed 28th at the StateDiving Competition at the IUPUINatatorium in Indianapolis. His mainsupporters were his family members.He was also accompanied by histhree coaches, principalMr. Ackerman and assistant principalMr. Atkinson.The Natatoriums MainCompetition Pool is 50-meters witheight racing lanes. Since theNatatorium holds 4,700 people, it isthe largest indoor pool in the UnitedStates, according to lUPUIs website.There was a lot of people and itkind of made me nervous becausethere was about 3,000 people staringat me, Mossbrucker said.There were also many competitors.It was a really cool experienceseeing guys that were better than meand the skill level there was justphenomenal. The guys were reallygood and I was happy to be there andbe able to dive with them,Mossbrucker said.On top of being happy to be able todive with some very skillful divers,Mossbrucker also enjoyed just beingat the pool.I just wanted to walk up and downthe Natatorium stairs.
