Although they were a youngteam, it didnt stop them from giving it their all atevery game they played. The JV boys, as well asthe varsity boys basketball team, had their first winof the season against Greenwood ChristianAcademy with a score of 52-50 in overtime.Their next few wins came against Bloomfield witha score of 38-32, Northview with a score of 30-29,and Sullivan with a score of 40-32. The boys alsofaced Monrovia in a fight to the finish as the JV wonwith a score of 55-49 in double overtime. The JVboys basketball team, just like the JV girlsbasketball team, defeated rival Owen Valley in theregular season with a score of 46-41, giving themtheir seventh win of the season. The boys workedhard as a team and grew as a family throughout theseason.The Mustangs tried their hardest and had anamazing season.
