48 SUMMERONE TIME AT BAND CAMP...I woke up at about 6:30, took a shower, and then went and ate breakfastfor about an hour. We then start rehearsal at 8 in the morning, we then gofrom 8-12 and we have lunch for another hour. After lunch we practice againfrom 1:30 to 5:30. Then have dinner for about an hour. Then we normally work7-10.Mr. Wells, band leader, described his daily schedule during band camp,which totaled out to be 12 hours of practice a day, not including the foodbreaks.Its a pretty full day and a lot of practice, senior Logan Holmes said ofdrum line.Band camp takes place at DePauw University and lasts one week in July.According to Wells, the bands first show started the very first week ofSeptember.To put what we have to put together with over a hundred kids it takesquite a bit of time, Wells said.Wells, who also had a busy band camp week, expressed his view onwhat he enjoys the most about the experience.I always liked our final day run through, Wells said.
