Just Keep SwimmingThis year, the swimming teams were small in number, but not inheart Edgewoods swimmers should definitely not be underestimated.Savanna Johnson swam her way to state, where she placed llth in thestate for the fifty meter freestyle. She stated that, ever since her firstsectional she wanted to some day win an event. This year she did justthat. She made the state cut time and set a sectional record.Savanna used to think a 24second fifty was impossible and she is nowswimming a 24.3. Watch out 23. here she comes! Savanna said shenever expected to do that, and she is very proud of her accomplishments. Congratulations Savanna! Edgewood is proud of your achievement! Although Savanna was the only swimmer to make it to state, allof the swimmers had their own accomplishments and made us proud ateach of their meets, whether they were swimming or diving.
