Description: SiW&^ ^ t^e SatidThe EHS bands worked very hard this yearwith their new director Mr. Bolla. They havecompeted in several contests and have managed to continue a tradition of excellence. At theannual ISSMA competitions, the EHS Bandcreated an alluding musical ensemble that delighted the judges. Striving at the most difficultlevel, they remained on top. They also traveledto the Jazz Fest in New Orleans where theyexperienced the energy of the musical culture.Overflowing emotions. LukeHughes plays the drums during an intense competition.Putting all on the line. GeoffHatt holds his position waitingfor direction.At the Jazz Fest, the band performed in paradesand competitions exceding even Mr. Bollasexpectations. The band practiced everyday andperformed numerous events throughout the year,from state fair competiton, to football games andthe Chirstmas concert, rounding out the yearwith graduation. Even though the bandtransitioned to a new director they pulled together their strengths and accomplished theirgoal... a great year and a wonderful show.Grouping together. The windsection of the band concentrates on the right notes andstill has a blast.Toot your horn. Jake Adamscreates magical music duringhis jazz solo at ISSMA.The frontline.
