Anderson,who has coached since 1969, said he very muchrespects the award and appreciates the recognitionhe received.Its an honor to be recognized by your peers foryour accomplishments, said Anderson.And accomplishments- hes had many, alongwith lots of experiences and memories he hascollected over the years. When he thinks back onit moreover, the one experience that comes to mindis his first state finals back in 76.This year he had yet another memorable experience with junior Donald Whiffens trip to the statefinals where he placed third overall. Andersoncredited Whiffens dedication to the sport and hiscommitment to working hard as the cause of hissuccess.He set a goal when he was a freshman to get tothe state finals, said Anderson. He has workedvery hard to get there.81
