1By Melissa McKeeand Amanda ComstockSpottedhe rushing of the people, the stomping ofthe feet, and the chattering in the halls areall familiar sounds at Edgewood. But familiarity took a back seat to change and newlevels of achievement were attained in several areas. Sports levels increased. Thefootball team went to regionals for the firsttime in Edgewoods history. Senior JimHornick was named to the 1st Team All-State. The girls basketball team was invited to participate in the Hall of Fame Classic. The boys tennis team won WWC in theirfirst year of competition. The new dancecorps, the Stompin Stangs, began performing, as well as the new show choir, The NewEdition. All in all, the schools maturationwas for the best, and had certainly left usstanding in the spotlightAs Angie H. and Myra C. look on,Ten C. gets dance fever duringthe Valentine dance.Channel One was widelyaccepted by the student bodyand many, including Amanda C,watched it intently, especiallyduring the Gulf War.Rob S. jokingly says to Chad P.,Mo problem, were dressed forsuccess.Opening 5 |
