Edgewoodis very fortunate to have so many local people take an interest in itsgrowth and success. In addition to the many businesses who purchased ads,several individuals helped in other ways. For example, during our girlsbasketball teams victorious season, May Insurance was kind enough toprovide the pizzas for a community celebration party, while Pizza Hutoffered a discount on their pizzas. Dr. Charles Coghlan not only purchasedan ad, but he ordered a yearbook as well to be placed in his office.Selling ads wasnt just great experience, fund raising, and hard work. Itwas a lot of fun! Staff member Alex Carpenter expressed this by saying, Itwas a fun way for me to learn to deal with the business world. All of our contributors were a significant part of BUILDING THE BEST!mm |
