It israther where to go and what to do, especially on a first date.Almost all students date at some point in high school. So everyone, unfortunately, has those first dates. The kind of date where aperson has no idea whether he or she will be home at 9:00because they couldnt stand their date, or at 1:00 or 2:00 becausethey were having such a great time they couldnt bear to gohome. Another unfortunate fact, first dates never end until marriage. Every time a person kisses off a boyfriend or girlfriend, itbecomes necessary to go and start the cycle again. However, first dates arent usually as simple as whether or not aperson likes their date. First dates are first impressions, so in orderfor it to be a success it seems that both sides must be impressed. Itwould seem the most important thing would be where the couplegoes and what they want to do. By taking a survey it was obviousin the results that the most popular evening out is dinner and amovie. An adventure to a theatre and a restaurant would therefore be the safest bet for a first date. However, for people who likesomething out of the common place it was suggested that a walkthrough the woods or on a beach stopping to have a picnic wouldbe very impressive.Furthermore the following is a composite of a poll given to thestudents of Edgewood High School. It tells where people like togo, what kind of date they like, how they like to be asked, andwhat they expect. So this poll is for all of those sweaty palmed first-daters out there.Where do you like to go on datesRestaurantMovieOther26%33%■°th ^42%^What type of dating do you like bestInformalSemiformalFormal33%4%What do you expect from a date63%JHow do you like to ask or be asked out *&&/J**NothingHold HandsKiss35%1451%By a FriendTelephoneIn Person10%14%76%^^»v^^^J«^ra^&S / tentopfir,. fO,.»**8?V*r*a&?**£.**.^***>.&6> °fitlrhn/?frn^Z^e•JSxTHE BEACH OR BUSTDown through the years, the trip that used to belong primarilyto college kids has seemed to ebb down to also include highschool students. This trip of course is the classic spring breakadventure. It seems one of the major happenings of the spring is aSpring trip. It could even be social determinate of some sorts, based on with whom and where you go.Students take months to plan out the details and to get all theirmomentum geared up towards the actual day that they leave. Then when they do leave, where do they go? The most popular and common answer is definately Florida. Why there? Why noi, considering thats where students have been going for years, even decades. Therefore, most likely, many people will probably find themselves at some point making their way towards Florida. So keepingthat in mind, we asked some students to mention some of the most important things they would take. These helpful hints can makea vacation more pleasant.i0t}~c7c*teSX1.
