Edgewood High School, El Corral, 1987, Page 8

Description: ,New school hours didnt slacken the pacefor Edgewood students. The Mustangswere busier than ever! It seemed thatalmost everyone struggled to finish homework, practice a certain skill, go to work, date, and stillhave some social time to plan school functionsand visit with friends. Many students tried to stay on top of thingsby planning ahead. The juniors started makingprom plans before the school began. By February they had made arrangements for a bandand a prom site.Homecoming was planned for October 10.This was the latest date ever for a homecominggame. The extra two weeks gave clubs addedtime to work on more well-planned floats. Student Council found more time to their advantage as they came up with never-before-usedideas for zany dress codes. They also came upwith many new and unusual games for ClassClash.Seniors began ticking down the last momentsof their high school career when they set theirgraduation date. After a formal vote and anofficial Mokay from the administration, class officers made plans for ceremonies to on held onMay 15, this was a week earlier thanEdgewoods past graduations, but the class of87 didnt seem to mind.New hours, different dates, subtle changes. . . They didnt hold EHS back. The Mustangsdecided it was time to set the pace!***** fj> tr * 0 *8Student Life
