Description: CC Teams Excelat the Invitationals u*You see them in groups along the highway, around town, in the hottest days ofsummer jogging at an even pace. Whowould want to put forth such an effort?Thats what our cross country teams doevery pre-season. A lot of hard work anddedication go into a winning season. Some ofthe runners from both the boys and the girlsteam ran over six hundred miles. All thehard work paid off for the boys team as theyadvanced to the regionals as a team. Theyplaced second in the W.C.C, won the Bedford Invitational, and Vaughn Rightley wenton to run in the Semi-State. Kathy Headleybroke the school record for the second timewith a time of 16:45 in a meet againstBloomington South.
