Description:	• • •Sectionals to StateEHS Wrestlers Face Them Off!Each year Coach Anderson and hiswrestling team set team and individualgoals. Through many hours in the wrestlingroom, laps around the gym, and lifting in theweight room, Coach Anderson and hisMustang grapplers strive to attain and surpass those goals.The team finished 12-5 in this seasonsdual meets. In tournaments, the wrestlersplaced second at Columbus East, the WCC,and won the Monrovia Invitational.When the Mustang wrestlers entered theState tournament series, they were able toenter 11 of 13 weights. Still, the challengewas there and met with determination andvigor. Edgewood was edged out for the Sectional Championship by Bloomington Northby a mere 2 points!Tony Kassissieh, Derek Presson,Tom Orman, Doug Stevens, Trent Anderson, Sam Higgins, and Dane Youngwere the seven wrestlers who advanced tothe Regionals the following week. However,the BLACK from Edgewood managed toget Derek Presson, Tony Kassissieh,and Sam Higgins qualified to the Semi-State at Seymour. Another goal was met byCoach Anderson when Edgewood qualified Derek Presson to the State Finals atMarket Square Arena in Indianapolis.
