Description: ESQUICENTENNIALEllettsvilles 150th birthday wascelebrated with a lot of excitementcrowded into a three day event withcrowds estimated at 30,000 people.The celebration was bigger than anyother to ever come to Ellettsville, andwith all the support from Edgewoodthe sesquicentennial parade was agreat way to top off a great birthdaycelebration. There were over 120units, many of which came from theannual Homecoming parade that wascombined with the Sesquicentennialparade. This event plus the loss ofClass Clash caused some bitternessamong students at the loss of a tradition, even though it is sure to returnnext year. That didnt lessen thecrowds participation as there was anThe Spanish club says,Happy Birthday, Ellettsville!EHS FITS PERFECTLY INTO PARADEestimated turnout of 15 to 20 thousand spectators who lined thestreets.
