Description: The 1983-84 pre-season looked promising but fell short of expectations due toinexperience, youth, and a tough schedule. The young wrestlers were outmanned and out manuevered but neverwithout individual effort. The wrestlersgained valuable experience for futureyears. Leading the team were lettermenGary Grubb, Paul Anderson, JerryPittsford, Cary Baker, Troy Salyers, andJon Patrick. The future looks bright forthis hard working group. The coachingstaff believes there are better days tocome.Backing the wrestlers were the wrest-lerettes. They helped brighten the sometimes not so bright times with lockerdecorations and moral support. Theywere a very important in keeping themeets running smoothly. Some of theirjobs included individual score keeping, keeping track of the wrestlers warm-upgear, keeping team score, and cheeringon the wrestlers.(*\nrow 1: Man. K. Sterrett, G. Kupka, G. McAulely, S.
