TUNING UPEuphony, defined as: a pleasing soundand/or the Edgewood High School Bands.Well, it doesnt exactly say that in thedictionary but the state of Indiana did whenthey invited our Symphonic band to performat the annual Teachers Institute held inIndianapolis last fall. Our band was the onlySym. band to be invited after placing highestin the ISSMA contest earlier this year.Over the years, both the concert bandsand the jazz band have received many firstsin their divisions at the ISSMA contest heldeach April. These three bands also give anannual Christmas and spring concert. Also,the bands combine to play at the basketballgames to bring pep and enthusiasm to thecrowd. E.H.S. would like to thank Mr.Avery for the dedication and time he hasspent making the bands what they are.Jazz Band: Row 1: G. Hernandez, C. Ketterman, S. Holtzclaw, B. Norris, M. Hector.
