Vocational Offers Job ExperienceEdgewood students have theopportunity to be a part of the AreaVocational Program. The Vocationalstudents attend school atBloomington North or South from11:30-2:30.The selection of courses include:Business Lab, Electronics, Child Care,Cosmetology, Welding, Drafting,Mechanics, Building Trades, Forestryand Groundskeeping, Refrigeration,Air Conditioning, Heating andCommercial Foods.Many of EHS Vocational studentsfeel this type of program will bebeneficial and worthwhile to them.Craig Snooks commented that, Ifeel the training I receive will bevaluable to me in my future careerplans.The training the Vocationalstudents receive is equivalent to oneyear of technical training.Jeff, Rick and Craig seem to think they can dothe job better than Mike.Jerry Taylor and Mike White work on an autopart for their Mechanics class.Tracy Boruff gives a helping hand to this littleguy during her Child Care Class.60 |
