The Festivities Of Homecoming 78After a spirit filled week which included dress up, crazy T-shirt, rolledup jeans and crazy sock days, theday, red, black and white day, and apep session, the Mustangs were anxiously awaiting to defeat the NorthPutnam Cougars.A parade preceded the game withfloats, clowns, bands and old modelvehicles.The Edgewood Marching Mustangsprovided the crowd with a halftimeshow and the winners of the floatcontest were announced. The Spanish Club accepted first place while theGerman Club took second and theSophomore class, third.With the joyful victory of the Mustangs 16-10, many Edgewood students attended the traditional dancewhich was disc-jockeyed by DaveEmbry and Scott Pate.The Spanish Club float took 1st place exclaiming, Knock Em Into Orbit!The German Club topped their float with balloons and let them fly away with the kick off.The teams reaction to a 16-10 win over theNorth Putnam Cougars is ecstatic as they leavethe field.Pizza and drinks were served to students atthe dance, sponsored by the Student Council.*<^j^5|r~- -•*■ |
