Description: tsn ([Jim WcwiclOur world consists of Main Street, ablinker light, two elementary schools, one junior high, the high school, andBloomington on Friday and Saturdaynights. This is our world—Ellettsville. That is not all we are concerned with, not at all. National affairs of the pastdecade have been present in our world.Watergate, the bicentennial, the gasshortage, disco, the energy crisis of1974, the coal strike and the blizzard of1978. All of these were concerns of thecitizens in Ellettsville and the studentsof Edgewood High School. Who will everforget wearing coats and mittens +nclass and missing a week of school forthe blizzard?u0ur world can mean differentthings to different people. To some itcan mean a place to be ones self in.Others believe it is a place that we allshare together. When something happens to a person here, we all knowabout it. These statements could bemade about any small town, but theyare meant for Ellettsville. Good or bad, they represent our world. Many activities and problems of theeighties will affect us, but this yearbookwill look back on the seventies as theywere in our world of Edgewood HighSchool. The Blizzard of 78 forces citizens to shovel theirway out.My, havent styles changed through the 70s!
