Coursesin journalism, speech, drama andadvanced English are offered as electives.New this year is an elective for seniorswho are not college bound but who wantbroader experience in good readingbefore they graduate.With the new materials this year, thedepartment hopes to help students seethe value of communication skills in theworld around them.
