Description:	The boys varsity golf team finished exceptionally well intheir 201 6 season. In the regular season, they had animpressive outcome with six tournament wins andfinished 4-0 on dual matches. With the help of all thegolfers including seniors Jacob Holbrook andQuinn Pizzo and juniors Tanner Shapiro andJoesph Weiler, the team placed first in sectionals,second in regionals and made it to IHSAA state finals,PHOTO BY MAX GROGGThe softball team really set their strides this season.They completed the season with a record of 13 winsand nine losses. They had a good five win streak in themiddle of the season including notable victories againstBloomington North, Columbus East and Seymour.With the help of players like senior Chafin Johnson,and juniors Marina Blackwell and MadisonGrabowski, the team made it past the first round ofsectionals but unfortunately lost in the second roundwith a valient effort against Columbus North.The Bloomington Souths girls tennisteam had an incredible year, ending theseason with 1 2 wins. These victoriescould not have happened without theleadership of seniors Jean Lee, ClareMcConahay, Madylin Smith andjunior Magdalena lannello.Unfortunately, their post season was cutshort with a loss to Bloomington North insectionals. The team fought hard all yearto have a record of 1 2-6.PHOTO BY BRITTANY UNDERWOODThe boys track team of Bloomington South hadan incredible year followed by yet another postseason trip to state finals with athletes likesenior William Hopkins, junior BradfordBomba and sophomore Luke Hensleyleading the way in their respective events.
