Even withhigh expectations for the season, theuncertainty was still a factor in the earlypractices.The foundation of the team includedkey players like junior Reagan Knorr andsophomore Audrey Cadag. Newcomer andfreshman Hope Gummere played anintegral role as well. GummereGummere wasted no time takingadvantage of varsity opportunities. I getmore experience playing at the higherlevel, Gummere said. The Lady Panthersfought until the end and lost only toBloomington High School North in thesectional final after beating Edgewood 2-0.This season proved to be test, and throughadversity, the team showed they havepotential for a deep post season run.With talent and great motivation toimprove their game, the girls ended theseason with goals for the future. Morrisoneven left some parting advice.
