Description: HUMBLE BEGINNINGSStarting at South as an upperclassman can be very difficultfor some students but not for senior Benjamin Lewis. Hemade a smooth transition on to the Bloomington Southvarsity golf team from Palm Desert, California. As theseason progressed, Lewis said that the only significantdifference between Bloomington and California is thetemperature on the course. Lewis said, It is way hotter inCalifornia this time of year. Although the weather isdifferent out West, the competition is still aggressive andintense in Southern Indiana. Lewis compared thecompetition in California and Indiana saying, There isway more competition in California, but there are stillsome amazing players here. Lewis had an excellentseason overall, placing 6th in Conference Indiana with ascore of 72.
