In volleyball, it is more of ateam sport so you spend a lot of timetogether, but in tennis we work a lot on ourown and try to use strategy to win.-JUNIOR ASHLEY ELLIOTTIts a whole different sport. Basketball wassuper intense while tennis is a lot moreserious with occasional cheering. Tennis isdefinitely a lot more laid back in terms ofpractices and training unlike basketball.-JUNIOR MORGAN BLACKWELLI. Freshman Margaret Doyle is winding up her forehand. Doyle served asjunior Ashley Elliotts partner in their match against Terre Haute. II. JuniorLauren Bauman and her partner sophomore Jamie Lee are prepared to hittheir next shot. This year is Baumans first year on the varsity team. III.Freshman Maya Mills is following through with her stroke. Shes one ofthe freshmen who played varsity this season. IV. Sophomore AmandaWang is finishing a serve. V. Lee and Bauman are high-fiving after scoring apoint in a match against Terre Haute. VI. Junior Isabel Fernandez is gettingready to hit a volley. Fernandez considered this season as a building blockfor the team. VII. Freshman Tate Blackwell is hitting a forehand. Althoughthis was Blackwells first year with the team, she performed incrediblywell during practice and matches.
