Description:	Volleyballteam has16-2 seasonThe volleyball team finished its season with an exciting 16-2 record.The team finished its regular season13-1, losing only to Ben Davis.In the first round of the sectional,South defeated Bedford-North Lawrence 15-11, 10-15, 15-8. Southdefeated BHS North 15-6 and 16-4 inthe second round. Afterwards, Southwent for a victory over Edgewood towin the sectional.In the regional the team lost to hostSeymour 8-15, 14-12, 15-5.Seniors who helped South to itssectional win were Regina Fisher,Vanessa Haney, Joyce Mulholland,Julie Richards, Nancy Scott, and EllieWalden. Other members of the teamincluded juniors Jenny Cohen, CaseyCarlson, and Bev Parrott, and sophomore Jane Martin.This years team was the most talented and coordinated Ive evercoached, Mrs. Georgia Tidd commented.The reserve team had an excellentseason, finishing 11-0. Team members included freshmen Lisa Bird, BethBomba, Teresa Creek, and JoyceFleming; sophomores Lori Faris, LisaJacobs, Mickey Marsischky, DaisyMartin, and Debbie Riddle; and juniors Missy Bell and Helen Swarbrick.L_92 Volleyball
