Description:	Phys. ed.,health spendactive yearHealth classes learned first-aid thisyear by actually practicing externalheart massage and mouth-to-mouthresuscitation on a new electricallycontrolled mannequin.Several doctors spoke on physics,anatomy, first aid, and mental andphysical health, just a few of the subjects discussed this year in health.Rick McMurray, a narcotics officerfor the Bloomington Police Department, spoke to Marvin Grohs healthclass on drugs and drug abuse.Drugs, alcohol, and tobacco werestudied in great detail this year.Other topics discussed were sexeducation and body systems, and aseries of films about natural disasterwas shown.In gym this year, classes participated in football, soccer, volleyball,gymnastics, basketball, track, swimming, and tennis.
