Description: Bringinfglory]The 2014-2015 season was one to remember forBloomington Souths varsity football team afterimpressively making it to Semi-State.Beginning this football season with 26 seniors andsecond year Bloomington High School South coachMyron Moriarity, hopes were high for success anddomination. Everyone in the community had loftyexpectations for the football team this season, and with afinal record of 11-2, Molaritys team excelled andachieved. In the first half of the season, the Panthersimpressively stacked up with eight interceptions, 216tackles, almost 900 rushing and nearly 670 receivingyards.The offensive powerhouse was largely comprisedof seniors. I dont think there is a defense that can stopour offense, senior offensive right tackle KamranBeitvashahi said. Fellow senior Richard Williamssaid the continuity of Moriaritys coaching contributed tothe success-the players felt stronger since last year andmore coordinated.Consistency, strength, and coordination paid off.The Panthers traveled the road to glory, stopping at finalfour and ending at Semi-State.
