Bloomington High School South, The Gothic, 1977, Page 2

Description: One stepat a time, more or lessRemember that warm August morning when once again we traded lazysummer days for books, pencils, homework, and football games? Wereturned, looking to renew friendshipslost over the short summer and anticipating what the fall might unfoldbefore us.A year at Bloomington South canbe thought of as a stairway, one stepat a time. The process of climbing thestairway seems to be never ending attimes, yet in the end we may discoverthat we climbed too fast. We havereached our final destination: forsome, just the end of another schoolyear; for others, graduation—nolonger a dream but a reality. With theyear ending, we can look back with afeeling of accomplishment and satisfaction.Standing at the top, we find ourselves looking back at the stairway. Finally another year passes, just onestep at a time—more or less.
