Peachj|bH^ is the granddaughter ol rock-and-roll icon John Mellencamp and was known to sonic South students as justthat. Although having a famous relative had its perks like good Christmas presents, Peach joked, she liked toidentify herself with other aspects in her life.Ive wanted to be a radiologist since seventh grade, explained Peach. Peach realized, aftergetting an x-ray for breaking her ankle during softball season, that radiology was the career she wanted.Radiology wasnt the only thing that Peach had an interest in; she also had an interest in softball. Peachplayed softball and pitched for seven years. However, she did not want to continue playing in college becauseshe want[ed] to have the full college experience.Peach hoped to attend the University of South Carolina in Columbia.
