UUe didnt haue school sponsonship nor did we haue a coach, said sophomoreTom Fell, UJe only had a few people that had played befone, but we still managed to be the number one team in southern Indiana, said Fell,He later added that they were the only team In southern Indiana,Rlthough the Outlaws were mostly student run, they still managed to organize two practices and two games a week, Students fromboth Dloomington South and North ere still gettingused to hauing a lacrosse team which contributed tothe scarcitg of fans,The players belleue that the crowd turnout would belarger if the games werent so far away, The Outlawsmight not haue had the most wins in the state, but assophomore ITIaneli Rehani put it, Rt least we had fun!(Above) Sophomore Sam iorneo, and his teammatesstare into the distance, entranced by action ot the lacrossegame. 1 his year was Iorneo s second year on theBloomington lacrosse team.(Kight) Kacrosse players run across the field chasing theball with their sticks.
