Description:	By Jessica ForneyEvery teenager needs a place where they can be with people and talk about important issues on their minds. CampusLife, a student organized group, provided just that. Freshman Torin Franz, a student leader, described Campus Life as,time that students can come together, play games, eat food, and talk about important stuff and things that matter. Sheattended the majority of the group meetings and is planning on being a part of Campus Life for the next two years. AtCampus Life, many issues are discussed that are important to teens including family life, sex, marriage, friends, selfexpression, and other topics high school students can relate to. Students from Bloomington South, Bloomington North,Edgewood, Eastern and other schools surrounding Monroe County attended group meetings. I enjoy the fellowshipCampus Life provides, Senior Trevor McConnell said.Campus Life held meetings every Tuesday, and always had some sort of activity planned. Every week a different groupmember hosted the meetings. My most memorable experience at Campus Life was the trust challenge, recalled sophomore Kate Wingard.(Sophomore) Liz Simon had to trust me when I asked her if a worm I was holding was real or a gummy worm. I whisperedto her not to eat it when she said it wasntreal, but she took it from me and ate the realworm.Many students have enjoyed Campus Life andcant wait for years to come. Its great beingwith people who share the same interests andenjoy being with each other.iDefore a Oampus Kile meeting, junior -Brooke Andersonand lreshman Kelsey iritchard socialize with the otherOampus Life members at the table. Students olten wentearly enough to the meetings to visit with friends beiore theactivities started.While blindlolded, senior Sarah Hayes attemps toleed sophomore Kiz Simon a peanut-butter andjelly sandwich. Hayes had to prepare the sandwich,feed it to Simon, and then give her a drink ofwater.114 Activities
