[The acts were] all totallyseparate/ junior Nathan Brewer said. Theycomplemented each other very well, I think/Set in four hotel rooms in 1986, five visitingcouples brought their own drama to the scenes.Couples dealt with unhappy marriages and coldfeet, dashed Academy Award hopes, and ariotous joint vacation with friends.In the first act, Visitors from Mamaroneck,junior Anna Ardizzone and senior Chris FeltsDlayed married couple Karen and Sam Nash. Iike noticing the similarities and differencesbetween who I play and who I am, Ardizzonesaid. It was fun playing someone like Karen,who always comes up with these witty remarksin trying situations.As the cast and crew took their final bowsand helped director Catherine Rademacher, finearts, onstage after their closing night, the songWhy Cant We Be Friends played in thebackground. For everyone involved, closebonds were formed in the two months ofpractices. All of the guys, we get together inwhat we call a vdude circle/ [where we] yelland give high-fives, Brewer said. Its all a bigjoke, but its fun.Before going to an awardsceremony, Diana andSidney, played by juniorsKatya Hooker andJonathon Baude, discusstheir lives.
