The club also celebrated Dia delos Muertos, or Day of the Dead by dressingup in makeup and colorful Mexican-styleclothing and taught elementary schoolstudents about the Mexican holiday.Sophomore Caitlin Sengelaub, who joinedthe French club to learn more about Frenchculture said, Its not an opportunity thatwe often get during class times. When askedif shed join again next year her responsewas a quick, Yeah, which she thencorrected to Oui.Sophomore Andy Fleener joined theGerman club because of his interest in theculture, and stayed for the German moviesshown after school.Senior Josie Miller, president of the Japanclub, said that she loved the club because,we focus on a culture that isnt asmainstream.
