Description: Story by Zach HartThe students in Mrs. Rademachers drama classes were there to learn more aboutacting and to improve their stage presence. Junior Amber Kemp was this kind ofstudent. I wanted to see a new aspect of theatre. This class taught me to be moreoutgoing and meet new people. Rademachers students did many activities in class.We did scenes, senior Brittany Richardson said. Students could choose what topictheir scenes would consist of, produce them, and then act in them in realproductions.We did whatever we wanted. Rademacher gave us an assignment and wepicked our scenes and then acted in them, stated Richardson.The students in Advanced Drama produced some school productions, such as Juvie.We did Juvie, which was a one act production. It was also for our final grade, juniorJocelyn Goodmon said. Konstanski, Richardson, and Goodmon enjoyed taking theclass. Its wicked awesome, Goodmon commented. Richardson thought Rademacherwas a great teacher. I love it. She just makes it fun, Richardson said.Students have many favorite memories from drama. Senior William Ayrea said hisfavorite memories were when, Miles Johnson smeared mayonnaise all over himself andwhen Chris Felts stripped down to his whitey-tighties.Examples like these showed just howB much fun students had and howcreative they could be in their dramaclasses.While performing her skit freshman AllisonLester (left) has fun with the other studentsin her fourth period drama class.
