Artists develop creative ideasClasses offered under the title ofart this year were introductory art,drawing and painting, creative metals, commercial art, and ceramics.Mr. Earl Graves introductory artclass did a mixture of thingsthroughout the school year. They didtwo- and three-dimensional plastercasts. They also studied the basics ofcolor, shape, texture, and line.Drawing and painting students concentrated on landscaping and surrealism. Commercial art curriculumincluded posters and lettering.Mrs. Theresa Oliver, new to BHSSthis year, taught creative metals andceramics.Senior Mark Bannerman was theBHSS winner in a contest sponsoredby Tri Kappa, and freshman TomDeckard designed the new logo forthe Bloomington Symphony.LEFT PAGE.
