It was fun to dosomething different on spring break.A few students went abroad on an exchange to Spain.While they were visiting, there was a bombing in Madridkilling 200 and injuring 1,400 people. It [was] a terriblesituation, but [we saw] a big part of history, senior BrittneyDyer said in a Herald Times interview.There were still a large group of students who stayed inBloomington for the week. I mostly worked and playedwith my new drum set. It was delicious, senior JulianBattersbysaid.Whether students stayed at home, went tropical, wenttundra, or went overseas they all expanded their minds andexperienced a bit of history at the same time.Senior Chelsea Langley digsinto some snacks at her hotelin Florida.
