OneBy Julia HuberWhen asked the question, What did you do this summer?most students shrugged, looked puzzled and replied, I dontknow...hung around. While searching for an answer, studentsseemed to ask themselves where all the time went. When thelast day of school ends, it seems that the doors open to endlesspossibilities. Then, students found themselves back in the samecold classroom, wondering where the summer had gone andwhat they did. Most students did a lot of hanging around, whether it was bythemselves or with friends. Summer provided a time to relax andenjoy the free time. Students also spent their time working overthe summer. Freshman Olivia Benowitz worked at a local theatreto help pay for her horse, while senior Jessica Courtney workedat the art supply store, Michaels. I liked working there becauseI got discounts on my art supplies, Courtney said.Summer was also a great time to vacation, and many studentstook the opportunity to explore new places.
