It was really great because thatnight we had to have themes for eachsection, and each section had todecorate their own area. Our sectioncouldnt think of how to decorate so weall just put big white bed sheets withwhite confetti all over us and pretendedto be snow. I got the audience to repeatthe word SNOW with us, and the wholething was pretty funny. The people weworked with were good and the crowdwas great and really got into the songs.Around 50 students from BloomingtonNorths orchestra participated in theconcert on Dec. 8.Justin BanksAndy SohMr. Robert Dubinski, fine arts, conducts the jazz band during the Winter JazzFestival. WI was really happy with how we played. The music was really difficultand I felt a lot of pressure playing in Tim Stamps old spot. We had a bigaudience at our concert, and I felt like we proved ourselves at the contest thenext day, senior Ben White said. The jazz band played a variety of songs to thelarge audience crowded into Carmichael Hall.Andy SohAt the BHSS Winter Jazzfest, senior Jared Eno plays the piano as junior WillPierce plays the guitar. I had a great time playing with all the bands from otherschools, and the critique from the judges was very interesting and informative,Pierce said.
