Ipacked and headed down there with Laura Quilter,Sallie Kill, Marq Hill, Kim Valenta, Lindsaq Strauser,mq familq and the Hills families.While down there, we saw and met all kinds ofpeople. Our vacation was also full of adventures,feuds, stories, and laughs. Spring break isfinally here and students get to enjoy a week without worryingabout school. Relaxing, having fun, and getting away fromeverything are just a few of the spring break plans that studentsmake when they have a week off school.Many students chose Florida as their destination. All Iwanted to do was hang out on the beach, go to the pool, shopand eat seafood, sophomore Rachel Wenzler said. FreshmanTiffany Hockensmith went to Fort Myers,a popular spot among Bloomingtonians.While I was there, I saw NichelleAllendar, Ms. Branam and Jordan Black.Sophomore Gray Goldin had a differentplan. I went to San Clemente, California26 GOTHIC • reflectionsfor a weight lifting competition and to visit my family, Goldinsaid. I looked forward to seeing my grandmother and my uncle.Senior Susan Jacob went to Clear Water Beach, Florida withStephanie Smith and her family. While we were in Clear WaterBeach, we saw Emily Wosniak and Dani Prince, Jacob said.We layed out every day, went running, ate a lot of food andwent to Island of Adventures at Universal Studios... it was soawesome! Jacob said.I was glad to come home because I missed my friends, butI missed the warm temperatures of Florida once I got back intown, Hockensmith said. Even though spring break was a nicebreak from everything, some students were ready to come backhome to Bloomington. After driving five hours in Atlanta, Iwas glad to get home, Jacob said.
