He has led the marchingband through many performances and rode the Solar Bike Team tosecond place in the world championship, by Pete HallPH: What has being on Solar Bike Teammeant to you?MM: It has been a great experience for me. Ithas improved my engineering skills as well asmy cycling.PH: What are your plans after high school?MM: I plan to attend Purdue and get a degreein engineering. I chose Purdue because they arereally good with engineering.PH: Who would play you in a movie?MM: Jack Nicholson. He is so cool for an oldguy. He would represent me well.PH: Who has been your favorite teacher?MM: All of my teachers have been good, but Iespecially liked Mr. Farmer. He taught me somuch about everything, plus, he was mySolar Bike Team coach.PH: What is your job on the marching band?MM: Im the drum major, basically theconductor.PH: What is your role as drum major?MM: Its pretty self-explanatory. I conduct thepercussion and show them where to step andall that complicated stuff.PH: How did it feel to lead the band in theRCA Dome?MM: That was an awesome experience. Thecrowd was absolutely huge!
