I am happy that Ihad the opportunity tomeet such a great groupof people, freshman MikeGriffin said.Well, I feel like therewere a couple of people whoare so humble that theydidnt get noticed for all thegreat work they contributedto the play. One of thosepeople is John Palmer. He isthe light god! He did somuch for the play, itsunbelievable, and he refusedto accept flowers after theshow or even takerecognition for what he did,and I think he deserves it,sophomore LaurenDemming said.Southapalooza was a lotof fun. A lot of us wereskateboarding backstage andjust clowning around, seniorNick Delaplane said.It was so much fun tolisten to the different bands. Ihad a lot of friends inSouthapalooza so it wasreally worthwhile. Plus,everyone was up anddancing, junior AutumnLittle said.I had a great time. Itwas definitely a differentexperience than what Imused to. The bands weregreat, and it was a wholebunch of fun, sophomoreJessie Hyland said.It was the first time I hadgone to Southapalooza, andbefore I went I thought thatthe bands would really stink.Some were actually prettygood, and I was surprised tohear one of them play aRadiohead song, sophomoreWell, after finishingup our tour with N Syncand Britney Spears, itwas good to play in frontof our home crowd,junior Zaven Papakhiansaid.It was really awesome,and moshing to great musicwas really wild. Theresnothing like shovingsomeone over a seat whenyou are moshing, juniorAdam Eades said.Zaven Papakhian did agreat job organizingSouthapalooza.
