Each group met about once a week to work with their coach, study,build projects and get ready for competitions. It really is a lot of work andtakes up a bunch of time, junior Betsy Mills said, but Im in it because I likescience and Ive gotten to meet a lot of people through it, too.Each teams project depende d on the field of science theychose. Many ofthe projects were hands on, and involved building complicated models orequipment Seniors Peter Augenbergs and Mart Haitjema and junior Ian Enochsreceived first place at State for the perfect run of their machine.
