Theyfirst beat the numberone ranked Trojansand then lost to themin the second roundof SCC. Senior CareyVernon stated,Center Grove wasthe number oneranked team in thestate and they were atough team to beat.This yearsteam drew a bye forthe first round ofsectionals, givingthem more practicetime.
