Description: Off the racket, over the net, SlC£lThe 1994 boys Varsity tennis team raised theirmark from the previous year to finish with a 4 and 9record. The Panthers singles card was filled at number1, by junior Kevin Reigeluth. Transfer senior LannyPullon played number 2 singles with Jerry Fisher fillingout the order. Remarking on the positive turnaround ofthe singles play Reigeluth states, At the end of theseason we played Martinsville at home and Lanny camethrough with a victory, but during sectional play wecame up with two wins, (in singles to win as a team 4 to1) it was great.The team though was stapled with the play ofthe doubles teams. The Panthers fielded at number 1doubles co-captains Greg Fisher and John Lind. Thesenior duo finished their impressive last campaign witha 12 and 5 record, which included three victories duringsectional play. Juniors Gordon Fullerton and BrendanMacDonald continue their dominate play at number 2doubles remaining undefeated at home for two years.Fullerton remarks on the doubles teams cooperation as,We worked together to make each of us better.
