Friends andFellowshipLast year several Bloomington South students took part in theschools religious organizations. These students found sharing their religiousideas to be a positive and enjoyable experience.Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) gave students anopportunity to gather together and share their religious ideas as well as theirdaily lives. Under the leadership of Larry Williams, the group participatedin many activities such as a canoe trip, the Crop Walk, and other variouscharities. Senior Lara Henrich states, The best thing about FCA is thatpeople I enjoy being with come together to discuss their joys and problems.Senior Christi Cherry adds, I feel very encouraged when Im at themeetings and inspired when I leave. In addition to FCA, another student religious group met eachweek. This group gathered before school each Wednesday for Bible Studyand discussion. Im really glad the school allowed us to take part in thisactivity, commented senior David Home. Both of these organizationsprovide a way for any South student to be part of a group and do somethingconstructive with their time.6 6 Hey Lara, the turtlecalled, he wantshis neckback, says JoyLadd to LaraHenrich duringa FCA meeting.Bible Study Front row: Heather Pugh, Chris Priest,Adam Yost, Collin Howell.
