Drama students kept busy throughout the year presenting one- and three-act plays. First-semester students tookscenes from various plays and presented them to the class. Drama techstudents studied and made set designs.They also learned how to operate andset the light board equipment.Speech, a one-semester course, introduced students to basic exercisesin oral expression. Students got practice delivering different types ofspeeches.Although neither Greek nor Latinwas taught, students could take Greekand Latin derivatives and learn theroots, prefixes, and suffixes of thelanguage.Mass media classes took an in-depthlook at radio and television. Mrs. PatKinzer concentrated on the impact ofpress, radio, and TV on our society.Students also received practical experience.English courses offer varietyEnglish 51 |
