Description: Country western, South styleIt all started with a darefrom her sister.Freshman Ronica Eads,with her band Midnight Express, performed a countrywestern concert inCarmichael Hall last May tobenefit the girls athleticsprogram.It was kind of a joke,said Eads, referring to herfirst singing experience, Noone in my family thought Iwould sing in a contest. Ididnt win, but everyone saidI was good and should continue.The first time Eads hadsung before an audience ofmostly friends and peers,she wasnt nervous, butreally wanted them to like it(the benefit concert).And like it they did — arainy spring evening didntdampen anyones spirits.The audience began to warmup; students danced theTexas two step in theaisles.
