. ■ M*M MM -fc-*-K,— -Freedom for the class of 92iOn June 6, 1992, the senior class gathered at the IUAuditorium for the last timeas members of BloomingtonHigh School South.The ceremony began asClint Baker gave the Welcome as a beach ball, possibly symbolizing freedom,was bounced among theclass of 92.After the orchestra playedFirst Movement From theNew World Symphony,Danielle Bruce gave herspeech, Whos Responsible for Tomorrow. In thespeech she mixed humorand drama to protray hermessage. In her speechBruce stated, Today marksa renaissance, as our generation blooms it is ourchance to make a symphonyof significant contributions,to create, give, heal, educate, define, and be everything weve dreamed of.Ian Craig followed with theChallenge and then the audience was entertained bythe Madrigals performanceof Bridge Over TroubledWater and That LonesomeRoad.During Mr. Riggles certification of the class of 1992,he left them with a thought inwhich they all chimed in,Take pride in yourself andin the Panthers. The list ofgraduates was read by Mrs.Franklin and Mr. Marsh. Theonly problem was whensomehow the namesskipped from Legg toNeidigh.The changing of tassels tosignify that we are nowgraduates was done byMegan Clendening.Jennifer McGlasson gavethe closing speech and dismissed the graduates.
