Students from all over the worldparticipate in an International Language Club.Fun clubsThere were four foreignlanguage clubs at Southlast year: French, Latin,Spanish, and German. Eachclub allowed students taking the same language toget together and converseoutside of the classroom.Students and teachers metto speak foreign languagesand participate in relatedactivities.The Latin club met at Leslies Italian Villa or at CafePizzeria once a month toenjoy a little Italian food.Its a wonderful experience for everyone taking aforeign language, saidMike Catozzi, a member ofLatin club.The Spanish club set upan exchange program withstudents in Spain who visited South for three weeksduring the first semester.Students in the club werehost families to these students, showing them theAmerican culture and popular teen-age rituals.,.-; *• 0c||:9 ii :■:: ^|*«o #.©•8,The French club also setup an exchange program inwhich sixteen studentsspent three weeks in LeMans, France.
