Description: 8SChanges at South creatednew interests in science lastyear.The first noticeablechange was due to technology. South was one of sixschools in the state experimenting with a new program, technology preparation. Science teacher DaveBlair said that this programincreased teacher productivity and interest at South.The faculty is learningmore and more about newtechnology, Blair said.Another change was instudent involvement, whichwas evident in events suchas the Crane science fairand Science Share.
